Ansel Adams Post

This is a photo taken by Ansel Adams, of Tenaya Creek, Dogwood, Rain. I really like this picture because I find it enchanting. The white rocks at the bottom o the picture contrast nicely against the dark shadows near the bottom of the picture. I noticed that there are a lot of really light colors and shades, but the lighter and darker shades are spread around nicely to accentuate certain parts of the photo.

Panramic Photos

I like this panoramic photo because of the nature in it. The roses in the foreground are really pretty, and the location is really nice. With panoramic photos like this one it shows you a lot of the things you wouldn't see in a regular picture, like the buildings on the edges and the trees. I like the way the bell tower is the focus of the picture. At first you don't see it, and then as you study the picture more, you can see that the trees, on either side, are framing the bell tower, and its in the center. It is just a really cool photo.

I really like this picture because of the effect it gives. It almost looks like there is a mirror in between the lion statues. I like the way the photographer set this picture up, with the stairs on the edges of the frame, looks like a frame, and then the lions I think would be the things the photo is centered on. When you concentrate on the background you can see that the poles on the top of the stairs are framing the paintings on the wall. In the center there is a painting of an angel it looks like, and there are angels in all white on either side of them.

The Story of Ace

This is Ace, he lives in Greenland in a town called Uummannaq. He lives with his wife Penelope and his dog named Markus. Every Christmas their relatives from L.A. visit them. His sisters Marguerite, Jacqueline, and Danielle bring all 11 of their children, Rachel, Robert, Ruth, Rufus, Rudolph, Kent, Karen, Keith, Kaylee, Katelyn, and Jessie. Marguerite took to giving her children names that start with "R", after their mother and father. Danielle gave all of her children names that started with "K" because it is the 11th letter in the alphabet and 11 was her favorite number, making "K" her favorite letter. And well Jacqueline had no imagination and named her child after the toy cowgirl from Toy Story, which was her favorite movie. Ace's mother Rodmilla and father Reginald came with his sisters and nieces and nephews.
Ace works as a small business man. He owns a snow shovel business, which he started two winters ago when there was a huge snow storm. The snow came down for two weeks, almost starving everyone in town, since no one was expecting a storm like that. So Ace decided that something had to be done. He went to the bank to get a small business loan, where he got turned down, then went to his father, who gave him the money, and went home to plan out his future business. Today, his is the most successful business in town. He lives in a good sized house, that has three stories, and has a gourmet chef kitchen since his wife Penelope is a professional chef.
In his spare time, Ace likes to relax either by running a few laps around his indoor tennis courts, or playing tennis with his wife, or going for a swim in his heated swimming pool. He also enjoys reading for countless hours in his personal library. His favorite author is Contreol Vaelev. a very well-known author in their town.
Even though Ace is known as the town hero, not everyone knows what makes him special. When everyone in the town goes to sleep, Ace does not. You see, there is a rumor in Uummannaq, that Ace has been living there for quite a long time. Some people think that he looks exactly like this biological father did, when he was alive, and they just say that he lived in Uummannaq, a long time ago; but there is a secret group that knows better. They know what Ace really is, and they know that his father never lived there, in Uummanaq. Ace tries not to give himself away, but he made a huge mistake about a year ago. He told the local news cast that he enjoyed going to his favorite vacation spot: Forks, Washington. Rumors spread like wild fire in Uummanaq. The secret group, called the ECIDO, which stands for Edward Cullen Impersonators Disposal Organization, dug into the story, and found all the facts. They knew that Ace never went into the sunlight, and that only his wife Penelope used their gourmet chef kitchen, and that he is up all night every night. The only thing the ECIDO couldn't figure out was why his family came to Uummanaq. If Ace was what they thought he was, all of his relatives would be dead, and he wouldn't have a wife. Of course, Ace was a new generation vampire, and there were many things that ECIDO needed to research before comparing him to Edward Cullen.
